PennyScreener uses your browser's built-in localStorage mechanism to store the following data exclusively on your device:

  • Screener filter preferences: Your last-used filter settings so you don't have to re-enter them
  • Watchlist: Tickers you've bookmarked for reference (stored locally only)
  • Comparison basket: Stocks you've selected for side-by-side comparison
  • UI preferences: Theme settings, display preferences
  • Educational progress: Which lessons or articles you've completed

Key Point: This data never leaves your browser. It is not transmitted to our servers, not sent to third parties, and not used for any analytics or advertising purposes. If you clear your browser data, this information is permanently deleted.
